Himmelbjerget is one of Denmark's greatest natural attractions. It stretches 147 meters above sea level and was for many years considered the country's highest point. From the iconic tower at the top you have a unique view of the Central Jutland Lake District, but the surrounding forests also offer several beautiful viewpoints.
You can visit Himmelbjerget by car, by bike, on foot or even by water with one of the unique Hjejlebåde, which sail regularly from Silkeborg or Ry during the summer.
